The Local Government Intelligence (LGI) Service is a unique web based application that provides high quality and comprehensive intelligence on the Third Sector. It allows local government policy and procurement officers to engage with the Third Sector and make better policy and procurement decisions.

The LGI service offers an enhanced search facility, a tailored user interface, and a series of specialised reports. Users of the LGI service will be able to:

  • Identify relevant organisations using a wide range of search criteria
  • Construct and profile sub-sets of organisations according to economic, social and organisational criteria
  • Benchmark organisations
  • Undertake a due diligence check
  • Prepare mailing lists for consultations and expressions of interest
  • Monitor performance indicators
