Les was previously Head of Research at the NCVO where he initiated the programme
of research on which the NCVO UK Voluntary Sector Almanac publication is based.

Director of IT
Richard has worked in IT for the past 12 years, and brings a wealth of experience in solutions delivery. Richard has been responsible for delivering a
broad range of projects for major commercial clients using a variety of
technologies.

Sam joins GuideStar with over 14 years experience gained within the IT Information Services Industry specialising in Sales Leadership and Operational Direction.

Sales Executive & Administrator
Anna has recently graduated with a Masters in Mathematics from the University of
East Anglia, Norwich which involved her spending the third year studying at
Macquarie University, Sydney. Her previous experience includes volunteering
with children and adults with learning difficulties, volunteering at a
retirement home and many fundraising ventures for different causes.

Stanis has a strong finance background in a career spanning over 15 years. He
has worked across a broad range of organisations in the commercial, local

Daniel Grant
Senior Web Developer
Trained in Java applications and a Microsoft Certified Applications Developer,
Daniel has over 3 years experience in database design and administration as
well as Networking and Troubleshooting.
Ram krishnan
Senior Web Developer
Ram has over 5 years experience as a system-network architect. He has a
particular interest in cutting edge technologies and has managed outsourced
projects and provided technical expertise for corporate-wide multi-tier
application rollouts.
Chris Harden
Web Developer
Chris started his career in network support, working for a college and a
government office. He then moved into web development and now has over 3 years
experience, building feature rich websites, utilising his past experience to
create secure and efficient web applications.
Hiten Vaghela
Web Developer
Hiten has over 2 years commercial development experience, and is a versatile web developer. He has a BSc Hons degree in Software Engineering and specialises in both database and web application design and development. Previously, Hiten was involved in the development of significant web applications on behalf of a well known law enforcement agency for a number of prominent government agencies.

Sally Bagwell
Data and Accounts Manager
A recent graduate from Oxford, Sally has experience working in the House of
Commons, the DTI and the Department for Constitutional Affairs. At university
she was involved in managing a fundraising programme and worked for a local
charity.
Thorsteina Adolfsdottir
Data Executive
Thorsteina has worked at universities and schools in the UK, Iceland and Spain.
Fluent in all three languages, she has taught and constructed research projects
based on various strands of political science and has an MSc in Global Politics
from the LSE.
Diarra Smith
Data Assistant
Diarra joins GuideStar UK following his successful role as Campaign Coordinator in the 2007 Bermudian General Election. Previous to that he completed a degree in Political Science and Philosophy from the University of Toronto, and reported on the 2004 US Elections for the 'Toronto Star' newspaper.
